Not sure everybody knows but Ive been using an electric assist bike for about two years now you must pedal there is no throttle if you don't want to pedal. So last nights ride with about 2 miles left to get back to the upholstery shop the controller on the handle bars shut off yet the battery shows half charged, so was able to pedal back but wasn't easy,So worked on a little today with no luck so there will be no ride today. I do believe the site will take donations for another month. But like to thank everyone who sponsored me and hope to do again next year with a fixed bike.
so came in this afternoon and the front tire was flat, not really a big deal fixing here but a real pain on the side of the road. So with the tire patched now it is still pouring rain here in NJ so it's a wait and see if we get a clearing. Thank you for all the donations
with this nor'easter moving in setting a new mileage record is very doubtful
so looking at the weather tomorrow, high of 88 chance of scattered thunder storms. Hopefully get a break in between storms for a short ride. What I usually do is the short rides 8 to 10 miles during the week days and the longer rides 15 to 22 on the weekend of course depending on weather as always. we were pretty lucky last year very little rain.
I think I'm ready to help these kids
just my usual southern route. Didn't quite make it to the college started raining so turned around
just 10 days before they really count
I'm not sure if you can watch it on this site there may be a link to click but my dad Richard's photo will be on the times square billboard on Aug 24 not sure of the exact time yet they usually email the exact minute/second it will come on, I believe they use an earth cam so you probably can watch it there as well
hopefully get a few more tune up rides in before they really count
