This was Stella on April 12, 2024! She is doing very well this year! She is now 7 years old and graduated 1st grade this past June! Please help Stella and me as we battle childhood cancers 1 mile at a time! #stellastrong

My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I will be riding in The Great Cycle Challenge in honor of 7 year old Stella Waltemire. Stella was diagnosed with standard risk B cell ALL (acute lymphocytic leukemia) on 3/1/2021! Doctors thought that she had beat cancer but it returned in December of 2023, just a few days before Christmas. Stella had a bone marrow transplant from her 6 year old brother last April. I am happy to report that even though it was touch and go for a while - Stella is thriving now! We have a lot more work to do! I am asking if anyone out there can help by donating to the Childhood Cancer Research Fund! Thanks to all that have helped me the past 6 years! God Bless! Your donations fund cancer research and helps develop new childhood cancer treatments with less toxic drugs to fight this rotten disease! We will do anything in our power to help bring that change to fruition. I am here to do my part to raise money for childhood cancer research and I hope my friends and family will do their part by donating to this cause! My dream is that we can find a cure for Stella's cancer and all the other children fighting cancer! Thank You!
